About this event
To build a strong blue bench, the Beaufort County Democratic Party is meeting every Tuesday evening this fall for discussions and training sessions for volunteers, precinct leaders, activists, and candidates.
This week we will discuss local races and candidate recruitment.
Build the Bench Basics:
The DNC has thorough online training resources to guide Build the Bench discussions. Hands-on training will be available from local party volunteers and leaders.
Goals include building a deep bench of volunteers, candidates, and party leaders in Beaufort County by:
– training field volunteers and precinct leaders
– finding folks with diverse strengths and talents to fill committee roles and expand the party’s potential
– learning/discussing the practical aspects of building and maintaining a healthy county party
– recruiting and supporting candidates with volunteers and resources
If you have a laptop or tablet, bring it along.
